Amazing Butterflies is a highlight for any Reception, KS1 and KS2 school visit and full of great learning opportunities linked directly to the National Curriculum.

Amazing Butterflies is open to school groups from Monday to Friday during term time, with groups able to enter the maze every 15 minutes from 10.30 until 17.00.

Learning themes include: animals and plants, habitats and homes, life cycles, feeding, growing, variation, adaptation, camouflage.

Booking

School tickets to Amazing Butterflies cost £2.50 per pupil. Teachers and helpers are free. Each session lasts 45 minutes. Maximum group size is 32. A minimum 1:8 teacher to pupil ratio is required. Events for schools

Enhance your visit to Amazing Butterflies with a free interactive workshop based around insects and butterflies. Activities for Reception and KS1 include Wildlife Garden Explorers, Storytelling with Puppets: The Hungry Caterpillar and the Frog Prince, and the Busy Bee puppet character, and for KS2, the Mini Beast Safari, Greenleaf Salad and Big Bug Experience.
