  • Size: up to 1.8 metres long
  • Name means: swift thief
  • Fossils found in: Mongolia
  • Diet: carnivore – ate dinosaurs and other animals
  • I was small, dangerous and I hunted in packs. I attacked dinosaurs much bigger than myself with lightning speed, running as fast as an Olympic 100–metre runner.
  • I had a big appetite for such a small dinosaur and could have eaten the equivalent of a whole chicken each day.
  • My curved toe claw was not as sharp as you would expect. I used it to grip and clamber over large prey.
